There have been over 20 looks so far and the bidding has started! I have good and bad experiences selling. I have learned that particular books are only worth what someone is willing to pay, at that time. The trick is to have a book for sale that more than 1 person wants.

Or rather the trick is to sell a book at a more realistic price. I can't see anyone paying the $575 asking price when it is available on Amazon - in both book and Kindle format - for less then $8.

I believe that you're looking at the wrong auction, hucks216. That one is for a signed first edition hardcover, which I imagine would be a lot more valuable to collectors than the regular paperback the OP is selling.

The book sold for $24.95 plus postage.
I found it at a Goodwill store. I didn't even read it, because I didn't want to crease it. Sigh. I sold a beat up copy of that book about 5 years ago for $50.00. But it was an earlier edition. That one came from a rummage sale in Naperville, that I just happened to be taking that way home from work, due to road construction.
