Get well

Post by haen2 »

OK Tom Houlihaussen, I think I know what ails you; but what ever it is, there will be no goldbricking on this forum
So, Marine, get well, ! and that's an order !
All kidding aside, I was so filled with selfpity, that I missed the anouncement of your hospitalization.
Take care my friend, and get back in the running soon.
Loes and I will keep you in our prayers.

Hope your visit on Monday will finally clear up
which direction to go for good health.

Truly all the best.

Let me say that I am a little taken aback by the amount of good wishes I've received, both in posts and PMs. It was much more than I had a right to expect.

Just as an update, I have a colonoscopy scheduled for next week. I found out that they don't even buy you a drink or show you a movie first! :?

The leading contender for the problem is some 36 and 40 year old scar tissue that may have moved, crimping a bowel. The doc wants to test everything in the area, and narrow down all the options before he cuts anything.

I'm only giving updates because there are some people who care, or may be interested. I'll keep the details to a minimum, though!

Best wishes Tom. Please remember to upload the video to Youtube when they've finished having a look inside. 8)

Tom,

Let's hope the doctor is either sober ór drunk enough before he starts cutting away :D
Good luck, and we will all wait for the video, including comments of course.

Will you share the pictures the doctor gives?

LOL about youtube (no pun intended I hope :-P) and pics :D

But seriously, it is great that the doctor is taking all precautions. Again, wishing you all the best.

Katie Curic is an advocates for colonoscopy.
In fact I remember her having one done and
it was televised.

:D No.

It did encourage others to have it done and it saved lives.
