11th Guards Heavy Tank Brigade

Post by midgardb »

Does anyone have some detail on 11GHTB's actions around Arnswalde (February 1945)? Especially, its 90th, 91st, and 92nd Guards Heavy Tank Regiments.

There are several references for Soviet "armor" during the siege (2/6-17) but I would think most of these are T-34 formations- not the IS-2. 88th Guards Heavy Tank Regiment also seemed to be involved in the fight. I'm just not sure of the wheres and whens.

Thanks for any info.
