I know that the RN had a TF (57) in the Pacific in WW2, I think thier fleet oilers were all manned by civilian crews. Some of the RN officers wished thier oilers could be like the US Navies, part of the RN and RN manned, has the RN got thier own oilers now, and did they get thier own supply ships, in other words does the RN have a RN manned fleet train?

Thanks Andy for the info. I notice that the ships are civilian crewed, in the Pacific i know the RN officers liked the US Navy supply ships where commissioned and crewed by US Naval personal, i think RN officers would feel more at home giving orders and dealing with other RN officers. IMO
