I am trying to get a complete picture of British TOE for various types of units in 1940.
However, my sources disagree.
Who has a TOE of a British infantry battalion, 1940 ?
thanks,
Mad Dog

Re: British TOE
Hello
I suggest you get hold of a copy of my good friend Alan Philson's 'The British Army 1939-1945 - British Expeditionary Force - Organisation and Order of Battle 10th May 1940 Volume 1'.
The TOE for the infantry battalion is very detailed and runs to six pages. This volume also has TOE's for all the GHQ, armour, artillery, AA, engineer, signals, ordnance, medical, supply and transport units as well as the more obscure such as the printing press unit and the mobile bath unit.
