HKB Building

Post by D_Dutch »

Hello,

A While ago I got a reaction on one of my video's on youtube.
(the video was about the liberation of Heerlen, a city in the Netherlands.)
The reaction was from a man whose father also fought in Heerlen and this was the first time he saw a movie fragment from the actual liberation and from the second world war.
A very popular place in Heerlen was the HKB Building.
There, many people went to to go dancing and stuff like that.
And his father also was in a hospital at Liege, Belgium.
It was the 76th general Hospital.
He got one question, if there were photographs or filmfragments from the HKB Building shorty after the liberation or from the 76th General Hospital.
I have searched for over a month now and I can't find it.
I was hoping that maybe some people here have pictures of those places.
It's not for myself, but for somebody who really wants to know more about his father's time in the army.
