Hi everybody.I know that the Free French 1st Army had its divisions armed and organised following the US TOE.But I know too that this was not automatically followed on the battlefield.I.e. the 6th RTM(Rgt de Tirailleurs Marocains),an infantry rgt,had no 105mm howitzer battery but instead a 81mm mortar battery,giving him a total of 18 mortars of 81mm.Do you know other arrangements,even at the platoon level,for French units?I'm particularly interested by the 1st,5th Armored divisions and the 3°DIA,4°DMM,which are infantry units, during the Vosges and Alsace campaigns.Thanks guys.French "arrangements"
