"Ivan and Vassily" and other Russians on Crete...

Post by phylo_roadking »

In "Ill Met By Moonlight", the story of the kidnapping of General Kreipe, Billy Moss records how these two escaped Russian POWs on the island as part of a forced labour unit joined their merry band, before being sent off to join the Andartes, later to be joined by at least another three Russian escapees, who worked with Moss two months later on his aborted attempt to kidnap Kreipe's successor at the same location.

Is there any record of what happened to any of these Russian "partisans" at the end of/after the war?
