Hello Gentlemen,

on 12 July dawn the Italian submarine Capponi had a brief gunfire encounter with a "British minesweeper on patrol duty" near that island shore; a gun emplacement too fired against the sub.
May someone know what ship and any further detail on the British side?

From Malta here Signor Cernuschi. I'm not living there anymore however so I'm not going to be able to consult the national archives.
