Can anyone direct me to a picture on the Net of a Deacon, the officially-produced armoured AEC Matador/6pdr AT gun portee?

The best I could find was of a model kit.

A Google search should throw up a few real Deacons.

& whilst we are on the subject....................

Can anyone add anything to my list of units with Deacons in North Africa?
I'm especially interested in 1942.

ZZ battery of 76th (later 60th) Anti tank Regiment. (Royal Welch Fusiliers TA).
16 x Deacons, possibly arriving as early as the end of May 1942, but I suspect later than that.

?? Battery of 84th Anti tank Regiment.
8+ Deacons arriving somewhen in August 1942.

That's it!
Thanks. Dave.
