Distinguished Unit Citation Companion

While walking aboad the ss John W. Brown I saw a number of american army jackets complete with decorations. One of them had the blue Distingushed Unit Citation Ribbon over the Right Breast Pocket and next to it was a similar looking ribbon but red.

I couldn't find anyone who knew what this decoration is.

None of my books show this decoration.

Might anyone know what this decoration would be and grounds for its issue?

If it is solid red it is the Valorous Unit Citation.
