Post by Eduard »

I would like to know wich german Unit defeated CCb od 2nd Armored Div. at Rheinberg in March 45.

I've readed that Germans surprised the american tanks destroying 39 of them.

I would like to know if there is any account of this engagement in which Task Force Van Houton was so badly mauled.

Thanks

Where exactly did you hear of this happening?
For me, my ears where privledged through the history channel. Nevertheless, my memorey seems to do me no good as I seem to forget topics even on a scale of this over a period of weeks without any kind of rehearsal of facts. I could go ahead and give it a search if needs be, but because its rare to hear of small group operations (which this caught my interest because its a literal opposite of Steven Spielbergs SPR) from German Forces, it is likely I will not find any of this on the internet.

A last resort will lead me to a library..this really interests me.

If I do find anything, rest assured I will post it hear.
