For a wargaming project I'm trying to include som Kriegsmarine naval infantry.
Its the Kriegsmarine infantry involved in Operation Market garden.

My question is, did the kriegsmarine have there own naval infantry uniforms (color) or did they use the same as the Wehrmacht?
Could only find this picture in colour on the internet, and its purposed to be Dieppe 1942:

If I remember it right, the uniform was similr to the Heer, but the adler etc were in yellow (gold) not like the regular arm, siver.
But that is a long time ago, so i may ne wrong.

To the best of my knowledge, non-ship type forces, such as Kustenartillerie and the like would have worn the same feldgrau colored uniform, but with Kriegsmarine markings, such as the gold Adler mentioned above.

Landing parties formed from shipboard forces would have been wearing their regular blue KM uniforms.

HaEn and Tom you are correct.

My Father was in the Kreigsmarine (Infantery)
and in photos, his uniform was the same feldgrau
coloured uniform.

He served in Kreta.
