Hi there,
I´ve got a little question. Yesterday I saw a documentary on German TV about the Campaign in the West 1940. A French veteran stated that the heat during most of that unusually hot spring was unbearable. He was jealous for the Germans in their "light" summer uniforms whilst the French still wore woolen heavy uniforms.
I am aware that the Wehrmacht used light green "drillich" uniforms later in the war. But I always thought they wore standard Feldgrau during 1940?
Does anyone have info for me?
