KRIM SHIELD

Post by dazza »

I have 2 x Krim shields from a dealer in Bavaria, one is on a tunic and has a bronzed effect whereas the other unattached shield has a grey sheen colour. I am told that the bronze effect faded to grey which may explain why mine has gone this colour. Is this true?

Krim shields made in gilt washed zinc will fade to a dull, grey in time.
