There is a ring for sale that claims to be the one Goering had with him when he surrendered to the allies in 1945. Does anyone have any information concerning this gold ring?
Thank you.
contact me and I'll send you a .jpg image of the ring that is for sale.

Why don't you post the image here and tell us who is selling the ring? If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true. Some of the medals and jewellery taken from Göring at the time of his capture vanished, believed stolen by one of the officers interrogating him. Göring-related stuff does appear on the market from time to time but almost all of it is as questionable as "Adolf Hitler" cigarette cases and brandy flasks.

This is one of his rings that was posted for sale by Alexander Autographs, Inc. in a feature auction about 2 years ago. Anyone having any insight into this ring please post your thoughts here.
