my guess.......................
i would guess it to be a regimental badge. the austrians made lots of them,.....maybe this is from an austrian unit, fighting for the germans...........possibly "expanded" bavarian maybe. just a guess, but that would make the most sense. the germans made lots of different regimental pins too, but it has a lean to me, towards austrian.
I am interested in buying / trading for photo albums, photo groupings, diaries, feldpost groupings,etc, from any country in the world, any army/navy, etc, mostly 20th century!!
