Gerardo Herrero's Frozen Silence film

Post by Rolf Steiner »

Has anyone else seen this? Possibly influenced by Night Of The Generals, it's centred around soldiers of the Spanish Blue Division, Leningrad front, 1943. Interesting film. Puzzled by the Deer Hunter style Russian roulette sequence, as I've never heard of this being a practice in that conflict particularly? Powerful scene though.

Hi John

One of those Amazon 'if you bought this...' suggestions, occasionally they're useful. The opening scene I thought was quite stunning - sculptures? Er, no... (you'll see what I mean when you see it!)
