Next up is Combat #12 - Apr 1964 from Dell. Excellent cover art, who else but a Marine could hold a .30 cal by the hot barrel and not mind the third degree burns while knocking those Jap Zero fighters out of the sky! No wonder we won the war!

Next up is GI Combat #127 - Jan 1967 from DC, featuring a Joe Kubert cover! Check out the heroic GI ramming a flaming Nazi truck (see giant swastika on door!) into the Tiger tank! See the 88 roar hopelessly to try and stop our GI! See him miss all those MG42 bullets that the Tiger commander is spraying around in a vain attempt to stop him!

Re: My war comics collection
Next up is Flyboy #5 - 1954. Check out the cover art, what is a guy doing in a jet fighter with the cockpit canopy open, holding onto another guy? Is that a secret two-seat fighter? What happened to our heroes helmet? Won't his hair get singed by the jet flame just above his head? All this for only ten cents!

Re: My war comics collection
Great to see these covers again!
I was particularly fond of the "Fightin' Navy" series. Got any of those?
Does anybody recall a war comic that came out in the 1960s or 1970s
that featured a from-the-German-view format; I believe it followed a platoon through the war in Russia.

Re: My war comics collection
I'll have to check! Next up is more Korean War mayhem in Marines in Battle #15 - Dec 1956 from Atlas comics. Why don't those fool chi-coms just give up now, instead of getting Iron Mike angry?
