Has anyone played Nationstates?

http://www.nationstates.net

You can form your own country and formulate policy on all major issues including health, education, defence, unemployment, social issues etc.

Hear is my profile:

It's a lot of fun and takes only a few minutes each day to find out what is happening in your country and what issues are being debated in parliament.

Help

Hey Pots:
Do I have to president of my own country? I would much prefer to lead Monaco, Luxembourg, or Lichtenstein; fewer problems by far!!! Best wishes.

...apart from the acutely high automobile accident rates among members of the royal family...

own country

Post by haen2 »

There is an old obscure law in the U.S. that lets you create your own country.
All you have to do is declare your property independent, fence it off and post signs.
The problem is you cannot get to the grocery store around the corner, because as soon as you leave "your country". you will be arrested for illegally entering the United states.  :D

Relize this is an older message but I thought I would post the link in case anyone would be interested, on swirve.com there is a game caled earth 2025, its a bit more military based but you control all aspects of your country.

Oh how neat would that be?

Wait, couldn't criminals just make their own country and be out of US jurisdiction? That could get to be a problem if he has people bringing him food.
