Lwd, if you ever get to see film of production inside a fireworks factory you'll cringe. There is little or NO element of mechanised production for obvious reasons - EVERYTHING is done by hand. Most frightening of all is the assembly of the big starshells and mortars - fill two halves with your ingrfdients....then WHACK together by hand as if closing a burger in its box! :? :? :? Sometime somewhere there HAS to be an accident - the law of averages is against the poor staff all the way!
