Your modelling collection list?

Post by Helmut Von Moltke »

hi, lets start a thread on this.... :D

Here is my collection:

1 US P51 Mustang Plane
1 Jagdtiger Panzer
1 King Tiger Panzer
1 Model Figure of Michael Wittmann
4 model Figures of 13. Gerbings Division der SS 'Handschar'
3 model Figures of the Panzergrenadier Division 'Grossdeutschland'
1 Panzer Crew model figure
1 Panzergrenadier Division Hauptmann model figure
1 Feldengarmardie (military police) model Figure
3 Early War German infantrymen model figures
1 1944 SS Panzergrenadier model figure
2 model figures of the 1. SS Panzer Division 'Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler' in Winter Gear

For the whole collection other than the US plane and the Wittmann figure, I arranged them into a diorama of a scratch unit of Army Group South in Austria 1945 Eastern front, since 1.SS Panzer Division and the 13. Gerbings Division der SS 'Handschar' was in the south at that time, and even though Grossdeutschland Panzer Division was not in the South, I simply made the GD Division infantrymen normal Landsers by painting Field Gray over the cufftitles (hardly noticeable.

cheers

Very Nice Waleed!!!! :D

My modeling collection is far too long to list and actually I am selling it off now. Armor, airplanes, tanks and accessories. It's amazing what you accumulate in 25 years of buying kits!

Wouldn't shipping to China be....erh....expensive? :D

Sure, send me a PM, let's see what we can do.

Waleed, very very nice job, well done!

One question, did you "make" the Zeltplane yourself, or was this a part of the kit?

Beautiful!

now is that man really cleaning his rifle, or his he feigning interest in his firearm to disguise the fact from eagle-eyed NCOs that he's a malingerer with more interest in that bottle of booze??

Thank you all.

The zeltbahn I found on the net: http://www.zeltbahn.net
Scaled it down to 1:35 and printed before painting.

The "kit" is actually left-overs of 3 other figure-kits, the rest is scratch built.
Here's from an other angle

Great detail in that scale Waleed, a good helmet liner, cleaning kit and a bolt for that K98! Plus some kindling wood by the axe. I have seen this before on Nords Amour SE site. Impressive indeed.
Interesting info on the Zeltban link

Thanks again for the comments.
Yes indeed I posted a fair deal of pictures on Nords mentioned site.
Lost interest in modelling during the winter period but might pick it up again...

Good to see some more modellers here, which is why I got directed here in the first instance. Here's my slow progress on a 1/35 figure from Alpine Miniatures:

I'm also into armour modelling, but have moved into sculpting and aim to get some unusual Wehrmacht figures built.

Nice work so far, Martin. Fine pair of trousers.
