Codename: Panzers is a joke :D

Everything is just so fake, and the soldier facial detail is horrid.

Yeah. I sold it after a while. The games I play now on WWII are COD1, COD:UO and HOI2.

Hearts of Iron 2 is the best WWII strategical wargame available now. Lately I've learned how to create own scenarios and it gives me a loy of fun and gives a lot of satisfaction.

Best Wishes

In fact I don't rember any questions that I asked, but thanks.

By the way: does any of you know game such as "Axis and Allies"? I mean that global-strategy one with provinces as big as half of continent each.

Yup. I have it. The provinces are unrealistically huge, and the borders incorrect. Just look at Hearts of Iron. The "Because we do the world, we limit the number of provinces to make the game more fast flowing" is no excuse.

hey 17th, you know that CoD2 is terribly unrealistic, right? I play it too but it's soooooo screwed. you should try Red Orchestra: ostfront 1941-1943 and maybe i should actually get it :? . check it out anyhoo, it's supposed to be really realistic (and gory). less killing (and TK-ing) and more strategy, and no stupid spawn-point changes like in Cod2 online.

cheers,

I think I'm gonna buy it soon... very soon... Red Orchestra: Ostfront 1941-1945. Dragunov, I saw a screenshot, and gory was the right word for that one. And as you said, it's supposed to be gory and really realistic. I've seen some movie clips, and it really looks good.

PM me if it's good!

perfect for me, the kind of retard that screams when they portray the StG as open bolt.

if any 'o you want to nab a copy, but have problems getting it at stores(like I), you can download it for 25$ online.

cheers,

4th was Bulge and 5th was normandy. I would also suggest Steel Panthers along with endorcing Close Combat series also a great deal of mods for close combat.

Mods for CC are really interesting, like Battle of Berlin.
Something broke down in my computer and neither of CCs goes on it now. Bad luck.

COD was unrealistic because the only tanks were PzIV H, Pz VI E, and Elefant (in UO). Also, unbalanced because there was no allied heavy tank.
