Icelandic soldiers

I´m wondering if there are any informations on Icelandic soldiers in the German armed forces.

These served in Waffen - SS:

• Björn Sveinsson Björnsson
Born 1909, Died 1998.
His father was the first president 1943.
Served in W-SS 1941 – 45.
Went to SS - Junkerschule Bad Tölz without passing, served as Kriegsberichter.
SS – Untersturmführer.

• Sölvi Kristinn Friõriksson
Born 1917, died 1993.
Served in W-SS 1941 – 45.
SS – Mann ?

• Oddur ? – son Tordarson
Born 1914, died 1944.
Islandic father, norwegian mother.
Served in W-SS 1941 – 44.
Served at first in III./ ”GERMANIA”, badly wounded as pl.leader
in 4./SS – Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 11 in ”NORDLAND” div.
SS – Untersturmführer.

• Egõir Gettir Oõinsson
Born 1910 -
Served in W-SS 19? – 1945.
5. SS-Panzer division ”WIKING”.
SS – Untersturmführer.
Russian POW, never returned from captivity.

• Gunnar Guômundsson
Born 1917 -
Served in W-SS 1944 – 45.
SS – Mann.

• Karl Kristján Christensen
Born 1919 -
Served in W-SS 1944 – 45.
SS – Mann.

As I understand

Egðir Grettir Oðinsson

Born 1910 -

Served in W-SS 19? – 1945.

5. SS-Panzer division ”WIKING”.

SS – Untersturmführer.

Russian POW, never returned from captivity.

Gave a false name, so we do not know who he was for sure. The last two names are Grettir which was a famous outlaw from the sagas and Oðinsson, which means the son of Oðinn.
