NordLand Div. Freiwillgen

Post by Wolfgang »

After doing some reading, I have read that the Finish and Norweigen volunteers in 1941 were attached to the 2nd SS Panzer Div. and later some were in the IIIrd SS Div. then drafted out of these two Div into the newly formed Wiking Div. in 43. My question; is this correct ? If so what Divisional Name would they have had under the 2nd and 3rd SS? I know after forming the Viking Div they were known as the 11th SS Nordland Div.
23rd Pzrgdr. Reg. Norge. any inf would be helpfull.
