Where was the troop training ground of Mlava (aka Mielau)?

The Mlava/Mielau troop training ground was used to train the (1st) Cossack Division in mid 1943. Does anyone know where it was? My guess is Croatia or Serbia.

My guess would be Northern Serbia. I don't think it is in Croatia. I'm moving there shortly, so If I find out otherwise, I'll let you know.

Bok !

Actually, it would appear to be in East Prussia.

Thanks Peter93929.

Mielau/Mlava does, indeed, appear to be in a part of northern Poland annexed to East Prussia during the war - hence its German and Slavic versions.

Sorry to take so long to acknowledge your help.

Thanks again.
