A listing of Hungarian commands, formations, and units has been uploaded.
Royal Hungarian Honvéd Commands, Formations, and Units

Basically, this is the last chapter (somewhat corrected and amended) of my long-time-out-of-print Royal Hungarian Army 1920–1945 book. I will be adding to further data over the coming months (years ?). Enjoy.

I don't know if you have in your possession the following :

"Am Himmel Europas Luftstreitkräfte an deutscher Seite 1939/1945 (by Hans Werner Neulen)

It gives interesting information about the air forces of the German allies, with 30 PP about the Hungarian Air Force .

If you are into the aerial part of the Hungarians, you will enjoy:

  Dénes Bernard and György Punka
  "Hungarian Fighter Colors, 1930–1945"
  Vol. 1
  Stratus, Sandomierz, Poland, 2013.
  ISBN: 978-83-61421-71-9

Publisher's page: http://stratusbooks.com.pl/str/books.php?book_id=217

188 pages; Vol. 1 covers the He-112, Avia B-534, PZL P.11a, WM-23, RE.2000/Heja, Bf 109G, Bf 110, Me 210Ca-a, Fw 190 in Hungarian service.

The book is FAR more than just being another book dealing with colors and markings of airplanes. Besides the many, many photographs and color profiles, there is a well-written, informative text also covering design, production, and use. And, a real treasure — for those into orders of battle — is the appendix with some 18 pages covering fighter units during this period.

I certainly recommend this book, and can hardly wait for Volume 2.
