Argentine Army

Post by Tom Houlihan »

This is going to be a little off the wall, but I'm going to ask anyway.

Does anyone have color plates of Argentine Army uniforms, and maybe even vehicles/aircraft circa 1943? I'm reading a W.E.B. Griffin series set mostly in Argentina. While he describes things well, I'd still like to see what they looked like.

Gracias!

The Argentinean, Chilean Armed Forces were kitted in German Army style. After 1945, only Chilean Armed Forces retain it's German/Prussian-influenced military culture.

Even Ireland's Armed Forces had the German-style Stahlhelm until 1941
