Nope! :?

The German losses in Norway during Weserübung Nord was (still the same source):
- 1.317 Gefallene (KIA)
- 2.375 Vermisste (MIA)
- 1.604 Verwundete (WIA)

Which, by the way, are an exact match with Tamelander/Zetterlings numbers in their book "Den nionde april" (April 9th)

The norwegian and allied losses are listed as:
- 4.400 Brits
- 1.335 Norwegians
- 530 French & Poles
- 17 Danes

Negative; the deaths are deffently Danish

Most of the destroyed German armoured cars was destroyed by the motor-infantery using Nimbus MC with a 20mm Madsen 1938 gun like this one:

Image source: Danish Military History http://www.milhist.dk/
100 motorcycles like this was promised to Yugoslavia, but never got deivered before occupation, The German army found the order-list and demanded them delivered; they should have been used in Norway and maybe also Eastern Front (anyone who can confirm this?)

Danish cassulties (that I know of):
C.F. Brodersen - died in plane crash (Værløse Airstrip, Zealand)
V. Godtfredsen - died in plane crash (Værløse Airstrip, Zealand)
B.C. Poulsen - shot in open fire while deffending after getting intercepted (Lundtoftebjerg, South Jutland)
Vesterby - died of his traume (near Haderslev, South Jutland)
Hans Christian Hansen - died of his traume (near Haderslev, South Jutland)
Oluf Arthur Hansen - died in open battle (near Haderslev, South Jutland)
1 Soldier killed by plane gunfire while running for cover in the woods Bjergskov, South Jutland
1 soldier killed near Haderslev barracks
3 Civilian killed during the battles in Haderslev

The totals should be: 11 soldiers, 3 border guards and the two pilots = 16 Law & Enforcemnts killed
20 wounded (two was Royal Guards),
And a few civilians killed or wounded.

I might be able to get some more details from the Danish soldiers letters which was published in a book later in 1940 - I have got my hands on an original copyt of the book. Unfortuantly it is in Danish, so translating it all will take some time, so if you want some of the letters from specific locations or maybe even soldiers (ofcause not all of the 14.500 soldiers are represented in the book).

According to the Danish Military history the numbers of the Danish Military per April 1st 1940 was:
14.500 Soldiers (8.000 recruits) in 2 Divisions (Jutland and Zealand Divisions) in 8 infantery, 2 chavalery og 3 artillery regiments. There was about 2.000 troopers in South Jutland when the main charge started.

The Marine Airforce had following:
13x Heinkel H.E.8
2x Hawker Dantorp
8x Hawker Nimrod
2x De Havilland Moth (training planes)
2x Avro Tutors (training planes)
1x Dornier DO J/III Wal

The army Airforce had:
1. Eskadrille (Sjællandske Flyveafdeling /Zealand Flight Division): 13x Gloster Gauntlet.
2. Eskadrille (Jydske Flyverafdeling / Jutland Flight Division): 7x Fokker D XXI, 3x Fokker D V M/26.
3. Eskadrille (Sjællandske Flyveafdeling / Zealand Flight Division): 9x Fokker C V M/33, 2x I R (reacon planes).
5. Eskadrille (Jydske Flyverafdeling): 12x III R (reacon planes), 2x I R (reacon planes).
Flyvevåbenets Træningsskole (Airforce Flight School): 12x Tiger Moth, 5x Fokker C I, 1x III S.

The Danish Navy had:
2 Coasters (Niels Juel and Peder Skram),
6 torpedo boats (Laxen, Hvalen, Glenten, Høgen, Dragen, Høgen),
7 submarines,
3 mine-planters,
9 mine-destoyers,
4 inspection ships.
(all ships - expet the subs - was old)
The Coastal defence had 8 fortress and about 100 guns.

According to Danish Military Museum the German casulties from April 9th 1940 was never published, but it is know that 12 pansered viechles and several cars and motorcycles was destroyed or damaged, 4 tanks was damaged, several German planes was hit by AA-Fire and 1 Heinkel He 111 bomber was shot down. 2 German soldiers was captured.

I hope this helps you

If "Hans Christian Hansen" mentioned is 305/Hans Christian Hansen - Private, 2nd Regiment/kanonkompagni
shot at Haderslev, he was not shot by the Germans.

In 2007 it was discovered he most likely was shot (from behind) by a sniper, maybe a Danish sympathizer or
someone from the German minority in Southern Jutland. It was later discovered the weapon used was an
old Belgian 1889 Mauser rifle. A type not used by the German troops entering Haderslev on that day.

The doctor Knud Lunn who attended the dying H. C. Hansen kept the fatal bullet until it was passed on to his
daughter in 1981. Research into the origins of the bullet were made but the results not disclosed until 2007.
It is now in a museum.

308 I. Bonde (Private) 2nd Regiment/Canon compani at Haderslev

... This don't include all wounded as some was just "light wounded", I am not sure how this list was made - but I do have a record of Lt. A. Olsen wounded at Hokkerup by a 1cm granade fragment in right leg, he was able to (after some time) to crawl to a nearby farm and dress to civilian cloths and call for an ambulance that sent him to the hospital for surgury. A. Olsen saw sergant Vous die from distance.

I may have translated some of the ranks and divisions wrong

Waleed, interesting story: I have no records of who that shot him, only that he died of his wounds - so I am sure the story is correct
