Can any one help me? The Hungarian Alarm regiment was formed from "Hunyadi" and "Hungaria" and fought at Neuhammer during February 1945 before withdrawing towards Nuremburg after sustaining 57% losses. What happened to them between leaving Neuhammer and surrending at the end of the war. One source states that they surrendered in Silesia with 121 survivours out of 2600 that originally formed the regiment.

There is quite confusion between KG Ney with Hunyadi Division since Dr. Karolis Ney von Polis obtained some of the men from the Hunyadi Division.

There is a small Hungarian SS KG that fought in Battle of Berlin
