Hello!

Are you aware of these Finnish re-enactors in the USA?

http://www.kevos4.com/

Their pages have lots of info, so I guess that's a good place to start.

Finnish militaria Ottawa

Post by Tero T »

Collectors Source brings in the most items. I interface with the Finnish military for them here in Canada. I work for a company in Kanata but am based here in Toronto. The KevOs4 boys are the best bet for re-enacment and to purchase as well . Also it is a good point to interface with a large majority of the collectors in the US and worldwide. There are even collectors in Japan. Ebay has about 100 items at any one time and you can get some good deals and rare items on occasion. The Finnish military is one of the few that does go out of its way to sell to the militaria collectors and war time stuff can be had from their stores to this day. I will be doing several displays in Toronto next year .
Good luck and great to hear someone else interested in a growing interest in Finnish military history. Send me a private message when you can. Tero in Toronto

One good thing would be to tackle into http://www.etulinja.net and the discussion board at http://etulinja.net/keskustelu/index.php.

You could probable be able to get some sort of information and even stuff from there too.

There was some 400 finnish reproduction uniforms sold here after finishing this big finnish war movie they made here, almost 50% of the uniforms were sold to the USA and Canada, some 30 uniforms went to Asia.... rest of them are still in circulation in Finland, but most of them already have new owers.
