No, Arab formation still in the Army until the end of the war. After all, didn't like Indian, they already lost many of their members in North Africa, Balkan, and Eastern Front.
However, some of Arabs had been sent to SS training course in Holland, like Fawzi el Kutub and Sheikh Hassan Salameh.
The two guys have interesting end:
El Kutub refused his boss order to participated in a secret mission into his homeland. Thus, Gestapo captured him and thrown him to concentration camp. However, Grand Mufti Jerusalem succeeded to influence Himmler to free him and then transferred him to the Nazi's Arab propaganda section. after the end of the war, el Kutub succeded to back to his homeland by taken a ship which full with...Holocaust survivors (his experience in concentration camp enabled him to act as a Nazi victim). He then continued his anti-Jewish activities, and succeded to blown Jewish Agency office with help from 2 British deserters during Arab-Israel War in 1948.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Hassan Salameh accepted the job that Kutub already refused. But he was captured by British. Salameh killed during Arab-Israel War in 1948. His son later was known as one of the founder of "Black September" terrorist organization and had been killed by Mossad in Beirut.
