Hi trotlin13,

The English books written about Battle of Demyansk are as follows.
But, they are mainly Russia view.

1.) Feb-Apr 1942
David M. Glantz "A History of Soviet Airborne Forces" 228-261
David M. Glantz "The Ghosts of Demiansk" 50pp.
David M. Glantz "Forgotten Battles of the German-Soviet War Vol.2" 47-62

2.) Jul-Sep 1942
Harold S. Orenstein "Soviet Documents on The Use of War Experience Vol.3" 110-121
David M. Glantz "Forgotten Battles od the German-Soviet War Vol.3" 174-193

3.) Feb-Mar 1943 ( Russian code-name : Operation "Polar Star" )
David M. Glantz "Forgotten Battles od the German-Soviet War Vol.4" 381-
430

I do'nt know German view books in English.

Reference : German books
Werner Haupt "Demjansk : Ein Bollwerk im Osten" 160pp.
Franz Kurowski "Demjansk : Der Kessel im Eis" 200pp.
Friederich Kersten "General Winter : Der Kampf um Demjansk" 94pp.
