Post by perrya »

Does anyone know if all or part of the following actually was in this operation: Herman Goring Pz, 26th Pz, 29th PG, 4th para, 3rd PG? I suspect only parts were actually used.

Also, the number of and type of AFV in: Tiger 508, Pz jag 590 + 525, 1Bn\Pz reg 4, sturm bn 216?

Hello Perrya:
The following participated in Operation Fischfang: 715ID, 29PzG, 26Pz, Infanterie Lehr, and Kampfgruppe Gräser, 65ID, and 4 Fallschirmjäger Div.
I cannot help you with the number of AFV's. Best wishes.

Hi Guys,

Also important was an ad hoc brigade of Lehr heavy artillery battalions specially brought down from WKII.

Cheers,
