Panzer battle panzerbrigade Westfalen 1945

On the west front there was a tank battle in germany (Ruhr kessel) in 1945...

The ss brigade were armed with tanks about 120+- , and after the battle the ss (mostly hitlerjugend) fought a fierce city battle which the americans named bazooka village!

Any one more info on this battle? including armoured strenth...

It even was NOT in the so called "Ruhrkessel" nor really in contact with the SS-PzGrenAuE-Btl. 12 which fought at the Rivers Weser and Aller a bit further north

Interestingly I just read that a Panzer-Abholkommando of the Totenkopf-Division should have been integrated into the SS-Pz.Brg. 'Westfalen', too

Any hints on that part the notices in the Steiger-Manuscript or Vopersal's Vb?
