Hi Raul
"Galgenvogel" means something like "Gallows bird"
"Gibier de potence" in french.
"Vogel" in german means "bird" in english
"Galg" in german or dutch means "Gallow" in english.
Kindly regards and Merry Christmas
Prosper

Hello Prosper :D; thank you very much for your answer  ...any reason for that nickname? It was dangerous for the enemy or the own crew? TIA. Cheers. Raúl M 8).

Hello to all :D; I've found something on it...........

Pz Kw I Ausf. B mit Sprengladung "Galgenvogel"

Test pieces of the "Ladungsträgers I" were built by the firm "Waggonfabrik Talbot" in Aachen. The first version was equipped with a rail and the second with a pivotal - and extendable arm (Galgen).

Cheers. Raúl M 8).

Hi Raul,
I don't know but may be it was dangerous for the own crew.
All what I know or what I think: it was the same model used for the "Ladungsträger.

Hello Prosper :D; the meaning of being dangerous was my assumption by the term gallows ... but in fact it concerned to the type of extendable mast. Thanks for your support and all the best . Cheers. Raúl M 8).
