Share of ammunition types of the total capacity

Can someone tell me if the ammunition load of tanks, tank destroyers, AT-guns, etc. had a set allotment or was did the amount of the ammunitions types change depending on the mission type?
For example the Panzer IV J, a total of 87 rounds were carried but how was the share of the different ammunition types like anti-tank, high explosive, smoke rounds, etc.?

Hi,

AFAIK, distribution would be 50/50 AP/HE on panzer. Panzerjagers and Jagpanzers may lean toward AP. However, availability of ammo types is the issue.
