I have attached two photos of a WWII German "mystery belt" and I would appreciate your input if you are familiar with this item. This item was purchased in a "lot" from a German company approximately 20 years ago.

I attended a militaria show/conference in April, and one of the dealers there identified this belt as Italian WWII. The markings are obviously for a military unit designation, and while they appear German, I still don't know for sure if they are
original or add-ons.
