How would I discover what type weapons snipers used .Especially Matthaus Hetenauer of the German Army.His war record,units served in,tpye of weapon and its details.

Welcome to the Forum,
Most german Snipers used the K-98k with a 6 power scope and later in the war G-43's were used with a 4 power scope, heres a link to some good information on German Snipers In the second world war and includes some information on Matthais Hetzenauer He used the two weapons mentioned above, http://www.snipersparadise.com/history/german.htm
