GD 1940 and 1941

Post by MikeWindheuser »

In this period, what vechiles would the GD have used? I know they were Infanterie Regiment Grossdeutchland (mot.), so does this mean that they had just lorries and no SPWs? From which divsions would they be likely to have tank support and were they still organised, on a squad basis, as Panzergrenadiers, with ten men and two MGs? Thanks,

Mike
