Goliath photos/drawings please?

Post by Oracle »

Please excuse my ignorance but I am a newbie to this. A friend without access to e mail has asked me to find photos of a 'Goliath', front, top, back, and if possible line drawings showing dimensions as well as of the control box.

Is your "friend" going to build a Goliath to wreak havoc upon his neighbours?

Try the achtungpanzer.com website. It has currently exceeded its bandwidth and is down but should be up again, perhaps in a few days.

is it for a game or is he planning to build one?
for the last, I am very interested, and could be cheaper this way ( a run of two vehicles) ..also, if your friend lives near Glendola, NJ, he should check the guys at vintage imports, they have one for sale, (it was listed on ebay.com) with trailer, for around 12,000 usd.

motor is out of the tank, but present

ADDENDUM: sorry, I just saw that you are based in england, I am sure there are a couple in museums in the UK..)

while doing an unrelated websearch, foun this site:
http://wilk.wpk.p.lodz.pl/~whatfor/goliath.htm
the page is in polish, but scroll down and you will find a videoclip of a trainign manual for the goliath (destruction of a soviet sp gun)
also, this may help a bit:
