On May 10, an assault team, commanded by Fritz Vogt (Aufkl.Abt. SS-VT), was involved in conquering a bridge over the Maas-Waal canal. In the proposal for the Ritterkreuz (Personalakte Berlin Document Center), the bridge of Neerbosch is indicated, while other sources, including the same Weidinger, cite the bridge of Hatert. Why is this difference? Is there a mistake in the official German documents?
