Hi - don't know if this has been asked before, but is it possible to obtain information on former members of the French Foreign Legion? I've always been intrigued to know if former members of the SS / Wehrmacht fought for the Legion in places like French Indochina. I know nothing of the secrecy, or otherwise, of Legion records.

Hello Rich:
If you search our site using our search function you should find a lot of old threads discussing this. I would think it would be very difficult to pry information out of the French about Legioneers, but you could try. Best wishes.
