SS Falschirmjägers Market-Garden

Post by John W. Howard »

Were there any SS Fallschirmjägers fighting in the Reichswald area around the end of September 1944 and early November 1944?? If so what was the unit?? They would have been in contact with US 82nd Airborne troops. Thank you.

Many thanks Leandros. That is what I thought. I knew there were Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger in the vicinity, but I could not recall any SS Fallschirmjäger present. Thanks again and best wishes. 8)
