Probabely one of the most often reproduced pics on ebay, the Knight's Cross ceremony of Knittel, Guhl and Dauser.
But, does anybody know when and where exactly the photo was taken? Knittel was awarded the RK on June 4, 1944, but I have no clue when or where the actual ceremony was held. Still in Turnhout before the division was shipped to France?

Agte indicates in his Peiper book that the awards were actually presented on June 4, the day they were announced. Wisch presented them to the men at one of the training areas in Flanders.
