Hello!

I recently found out that my grandfather drove a Horch 930 whilst serving in the Totenkopf Division - can anyone tell me what these were used for or any more about them, looks like a staff car to me but I am sure it was used for many tasks throughout his time with the division 1939-42.

I don't know if the photo is specifically your grandfathers vehicle. What I can tell you, if my sources are correct, is that the pictured Horch is from the 12th company of the Totenkopf infantry.

Thanks and absolutely correct! My Grandfather was in the 12th Company of IR 1 - This was his car.
