Hi guys
I recently read a document that requested four, (4) former SS men from a concentration camp to go to the SS infantry reserve battalions "Ost" in Zhitomir, before transferring on to the Dirlewanger formation.
The letter is dated; 02.10.1943 from Dirlewanger, (BA RS 3-36/10, page 107)
Anyone have more information on these transfers of SS convicts to the "Ost" battalion or if the "Ost" battalion regulary trained probationers?
Thanks for any help
