SS Hauptscharfuhrer Karl Heinrich Hermann Albers

SS Rottenfuhrer Franz Laszakovits

SS Untersturmfuhrer Walter Diener

Ostuf.- Chef,14./Leg.Nederland, 6.42
Ustuf. - 1./Begl.Btl. RFSS, 11.41
Rttf. - 4./LSSAH, 1.41

On the "personalakten" disc of Mr Moore are elements of his file, but I'm a bit reluctant to post those without agreement of the author.

Hello Paul!

Just some basic information about these DKiG winners... The only Albers (with the DKiG) in the Waffen-SS was

Carl Albers, who received the DKiG on 08.01.1943 as a SS-Oberscharführer in the 3./SS-IR "Germania".

Franz Laszakovits received the DKiG on 26.09.1944 as a SS-Unterscharführer in the 2./SS-AR 54.

Walter Diener received the DKiG on 24.04.1944 as a SS-Hauptsturmführer commanding 14./SS-Frw.Pz.GR 49 "De Ruyter", obviously a posthumous award given his date of death as stated in Warnach's post.
