Some questions regarding the SS.

Post by D_Dutch »

Hello everybody,

I am looking for more information about the following people and units, since I can not find much about them.
Every piece of info is appreciated very much! :)

Units:

- Liska-Schule.

Around Pancrac, 10th of February 1943.

- IV Zug 2.SS Pz. Gren. Fhr. Begl.Kp. in Bukowan und Ardennenoffensive.

Does the last mean that this unit fought in the Battle of the Bulge?

- II Zug 1.SS Pz. Gren. Fhr. Begl.Kp. im Fhq. Friedberg, Zossen, Berlin/Reichskanzlei.

Does the last mean that this unit once was attached to the Reichskanzlei?

Persons:

They are depicted on a photo which was made in Prag-Pancrac on the 22nd of March 1943.
They were part of 8.E/SS Ausb. Rgt. Prag.

- Hauptsturmführer Möllhoff. (Chef 8.E.)
- Obersturmführer Wagner. (Regiments adjudant.)
- Obersturmbannführer Wegener. (Regimentskommandeur.)

With kind regards,

Koen.

Hello Mr. Nix,

Thanks for the identification of the SS-Obersturmbannführer!
The weird part is, I found another Obersturmbannführer with the same rank and date of birth, but he was killed two years earlier, on the 29th of April 1942, and that would be impossible because the photo he is on is from 1943...

Regards,

Koen.
