If I am not mistaken, I believe the commander of the 1st SS Panzergrenadier Regiment was Standartenfuhrer Max Hansen.

I agree, it was Max Hansen, and when he suffered the last of his many wartime wounds, Hans-Hendrik Neumann succeeded him temporarily.

Hi,

Does anyone have any more information about the transition of command between Hansen and Neumann?

Thanks,

John.
